Pavesi and can be reached at: allsaintsmilanwardens@gmail.com<\/p>\n<p>The Diocesan Safeguarding Team in the UK can be contacted at\u00a0 bridgett.fenton@churchofengland.org<\/p>\n<p>The full Diocesan Safeguarding Policy and Protocol can be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europe.anglican.org\/resources\/safeguarding-policy-guidance\">viewed here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In accordance with the Diocese of Europe\u2019s Safeguarding Policy, our Chaplaincy is committed to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promoting a safer environment and culture.<\/li>\n<li>Safely recruiting and supporting all those with any responsibility related to children, young people and vulnerable adults within the church.<\/li>\n<li>Responding promptly to every safeguarding concern or allegation.<\/li>\n<li>Caring pastorally for victims\/survivors of abuse and other affected persons.<\/li>\n<li>Caring pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns or allegations of abuse and other affected persons.<\/li>\n<li>Responding to those that may pose a present risk to others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Our Chaplaincy will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Endeavour to create a safe and caring place for all.<\/li>\n<li>Have a named local Safeguarding Officer to work with the incumbent and the Chaplaincy Council to implement policy and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Safely recruit, train and support all those with any responsibility for children, young people and vulnerable adults to have the confidence and skills to recognise and respond to abuse.<\/li>\n<li>Where possible, ensure that there is appropriate insurance cover for all activities involving children and vulnerable adults undertaken in the name of the chaplaincy.<\/li>\n<li>Display in church premises and on the chaplaincy website the details of who to contact if there are safeguarding concerns or support needs.<\/li>\n<li>Listen to and take seriously all those who disclose abuse.<\/li>\n<li>Take steps to protect children and vulnerable adults when a safeguarding concern of any kind arises, following House of Bishops\u2019 guidance, including notifying the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser (DSA) and local child and\/or vulnerable adult services immediately.<\/li>\n<li>Offer support to victims\/survivors of abuse regardless of the type of abuse, when or where it occurred.<\/li>\n<li>Care for and monitor any member of the church community who may pose a risk to children and vulnerable adults whilst maintaining appropriate confidentiality and the safety of all parties.<\/li>\n<li>Review the implementation of the Safeguarding Policy, procedures and practices at least annually.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>29 June 2025:<\/strong> This revised policy was approved by the\u00a0 Church Council of All Saints\u2019 Anglican Church, Milan.
